I went looking for Dr. McKenzie after a stroke in 2023.  I had long term severe diabetes issues which I had "treated" with diet and exercise.   All of that had stopped working, but I was extremely resistant to taking drugs.  After the stroke, I knew I had to take a new look at everything, and would need help navigating all the potential routes forward.  Dr. McKenzie prescribed a number of drugs to prevent future strokes, but also prescribed Mounjaro and Levemir.  All of the new drugs worked well without side effects.  I just received an A1C of 6.0, and for the first time in a decade, I'm sleeping 8+ hours per night, thanks to the Quetiapine the Dr. prescribed.  In short, I feel like I have a future, and am enjoying every day.  I gave Dr. McKenzie a big hug today, thanking her. Dr. Jana McKkenzie is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to her now for over a year and she has helped me with a myriad of medical problems.  I love the way she thinks out of the box and finds unique solutions to medical problems.  I find that the regiment of prescription medication’s that she has put me on have gotten me feeling terrific. I have more energy and my conditions are improving.  I can’t thank her for her kindness, her empathy, her very positive bedside manner, and the depth of knowledge that she has of her field.

Where do I begin...I decided to try a concierge physician because I want to make my health a priority and needed a Dr. who would partner with me on this journey. From the moment I walked into her office, I knew I was in the right place.  Her office manager, Maria, is immediately your friend.  She is attentive, kind, and efficient. Dr. McKenzie spent 2 hours discussing my health history and current concerns.  I  consider myself a very healthy woman in her 50's.  I have had chronic back pain and have been to many different doctors for treatment.  Dr. McKenzie was the first to order a MRI.  This was game changing ... She takes a holistic view to treatment and is truly focused on making her patients feel like their overall well being is her priority.
